Handcrafted bridal and evening gowns bearing the Sharon Bowen signature regularly appear in television programmes and on the glossy pages of all the fashion magazines, with many of her clients including well known faces from the world of TV and the media. Recently, Sharon’s work has appeared consecutively on both ITV, in Coronation Street, and the BBC in their action drama Paradise Heights.
Sharon started her career in the industry by studying for an honours degree in fashion at Bristol. Her potential soon became apparent and Sharon moved to Paris, designing and producing work for the Maison de Couture - Huber Aimetti and showing collections at the Pret-a-Porter and Les Createurs. She went on to become a member of the Syndicat des Halles, which enabled her to work on collections from major names including Chloe, Stephen Kelian, Tokio Rumagai and Kenzo. Sharon has received favourable reviews for her evening wear in Vogue, Elle and Marie Claire. In the UK she launced the successful Pepe Leather and Challenger Leatherwear collections to international acclaim.
Content to let her work take centre stage, Sharon concentrates on being the major focus at the The Couture Studio based in Cheshire.
